With YPG curricula, any teacher can build student engagement and find success in their classroom.

Professional Development sessions take place with YPG's expert educators. Our teachers have decades of experience skillfully fostering student creativity through our supportive, technology-oriented methods. We are ready to work with teachers to help them do the same for their students. Whether a teacher has no experience with music technology or is already a seasoned producer, linking up with YPG will help them get the most out of the curricula and their technology.

We are committed to supporting teachers and cultivating creative classrooms where students and teachers experience the joy of making music.

Teacher Orientation to Young Producers Group

When a school purchases any YPG music production curricula, all music teachers will receive an orientation session. In this session, we will review the YPG methods and materials and strategize the best ways to implement them in the teacher’s specific classroom context. All teachers also receive our in-depth teacher’s handbook, which comes with supportive resources designed for educators as they implement our curricula.

  • Dennon Jones, Escalante Middle School, Colorado:

"Young Producers Group is blazing new trails in the field of music education that will provide an incredible experience to students and teachers alike. I started teaching music production at my school, in response to Covid restrictions. After professional development with Lawrence Grey, the founder of YPG, my classes were taken to the next level. He answers every question I have about music production and education, and helps me design appropriate lessons that cater to my students’ needs. YPG gave me the confidence and tools I need to start a thriving music production program at my public middle school. Thanks Lawrence and YPG!"

  • Nam Duong, Fresno Unified, California:

“When I first started teaching music production, I did not know what kind of activities and assignments would help my students become proficient musicians. With Young Producers Group’s curriculum and professional development programs, I was given the tools and the step-by-step guide. My students are now capable of creating awesome music that they love. The curriculum is simple and understandable, and when I had questions, Lawrence Grey and his team assisted me greatly. I would recommend YPG to anyone who is looking to teach music production or how to make music in general.”
